One thing that many historians realize is that penis enlargement is not new. In fact, all the evidence shows that men have been attempting to enlarge their penises at least since 440 bc. This fact is actually backed up by cave paintings which were made during this period.
Despite all the advances which have been made in technology since that time, it seems that we are not all that different from our ancestors in various ways. In addition to this, over the ages, a number of statues and sculptures have been made which celebrate the penis.
In fact, not only did the ancients appear to revere the penis, there were a number of cultures in which the penis was actually worshiped. Some of the cultures which seemed to gravitate towards this were the Romans and Egyptians.
Now, a person who is logical would normally begin to think that if the ancients were fascinated by the size of the penis, it is logical that methods must have been developed in which the penis could be enlarged. All the historical evidence shows that there is a lot of truth to this.
One of the most popular methods of enlarging the penis during antiquity was through stretching. Many methods were devised in which weights were hung in order to make the penis larger.
As you would imagine, many of these methods are unsafe, if not downright dangerous, but the men who used the methods were often oblivious to this, since they were so determined to increase their size. Having said that, many of the techniques used by the ancients to increase penis size are not methods that you would want to use today.
One technique which is an exception to this is called Jelq, which was also known as Jelquing. Some historians believe that these technique was developed in the Middle East, and fathers would often show their sons a variety of exercises which would allow them to increase the size of their penis.
In fact, some historians believe that the word Jelq gradually evolved into the term “jerk off,” though there are some who debate whether or not these two words are connected.
