Jelqing is a form of exercise which involves massaging the penis gently in certain strokes applying pressure in a certain fashion which results in the enlargement of the penis. Jelqing may sound very simple just by definition but it is an intricate study because there are many varieties of strokes and pressure point to memorize and it has to be applied in a specific way to get results. It is not something which would show results in one day or even one week. Over a period of time like for more than a month or so and if done everyday, the penis gets used to this pressure points and more blood starts getting supplied to these points increasing the size of the penis. It is a technique which has to be learnt and mastered if you want to enlarge your penis through jelqing. Even the tissues around the pressure points that have been created through massage will become big and thus it all results in an enlarged penis by length and circumference.
While jelqing the level of erection is also very important and there is a right erection level. What this means is for example when a person jelq’s when the erection is less or low the pressure and massage techniques that you are using at that point of time will vary to a large extent. Because the pressure might not reach the right points when there is no erection. When the penis is fully erect and is in the right posture then all the tissues and points are stiff and they completely come to the surface. So when pressure is applied when the penis is fully erect it reaches the right pressure point and will turn beneficial.
While jelqing the strokes usually start at a low pressure and then while ending the stroke it is done with high pressure. So the pressure is built gradually here in long strokes. Every stroke is long starting with less pressure and as you build your way upwards the pressure is also gradually increased and reaches the peak. This action helps to develop the girth of the penis and the glans. The minimum erection level which is recommended to jelq is at least 50 percent of your full erection. If it is not erected at that level it is not advised to jelq. This rule is applicable to increase the girth or the circumference. If you ant to increase the solidity of your penis by having a bigger circumference then you should wait until the penis is at least 50 percent erect before jelqing.
For increasing the size of the penis length wise jelqing should be done when the erection is low because that is when the penis is most flexible. So you can massage the penis length wise by starting with higher pressure and ending with a low pressure. This increases the blood flow to the penis by creating a blood flow path and creating sensitive points in penis which will demand blood flow. This results in the increase in size length wise. Jelqing at ,low erection is started at high pressure and as you work your way along the penis the pressure is released and reduced gradually from one pressure point to the next. This over a period of time increases the length of the penis gradually.
But if you want to increase the circumference and the length of the penis then you should first apply the strokes turn wise. First work on the girth for one day and the next day work on the length so that there is an overall development in a gradual process. By working alternatively you also create an overall symmetrical growth rather than odd dimensions.
While jelqing there are certain grip levels which need to be practiced for the jelqing to be effective and fruitful. There are many ways to apply grip while jelqing. There are some common guidelines that can be followed. First of all strength is a big thing while applying grip to the penis. You have to match the strength of the stroke to the grip applied so that an equal amount of pressure is applied over all when you hold and as you progress with the stroke do not change the amount of pressure. There should be consistency in the grip applied because it very easy to release the grip while you are progressing with the stroke. Always start the grip low at the base so that blood flow starts early.
There are two positions in which you can jelq; one is the palms up position where you apply pressure upwards or the other is the palms down position through which you can work you way downwards. In either of the positions there is no hard and fast rule that the fore finger should meet with the thumb forming a circle. But it is more important to have a steady grip. By using a steady grip you are creating pressure points which will trap blood and make it flow through. This will result in increase in penis size. When you hold the penis with your palm in a u shape fashion vertically up corpora carvenosa and this will benefit greatly for increasing the girth.
Another aspect to jelqing is if there are any bends in the penis even they can be corrected through jelqing exercises which will increase the blood flow in certain fashion that it will correct the bend. Usually the jelqing exercise follows a straight path but if there is a bend which has to be corrected then a slightly different form of exercise has to be done. The pressure has to be applied diagonally and the edge of the grip should be on the inside of the bend. This may help to straighten out the bend. It may not be completely straight at the end of it all but there would be a considerable improvement. It is a combination of both stretching and pressure internally.
While jelqing there are some precautions which have to be taken like you should pay attention to the dorsal nerve which runs along the penis right in the middle. If you apply excess pressure directly on the nerve then you may damage it. There are a lot of nerves near the tip of the penis and near the glans which have to be avoided if possible because you would not want to damage any nerves. You can avoid by stopping one inch away from the nerve endings so that you do not interfere with their functions in any way.
While jelqing another point which has to be paid attention to is you should keep in mind that when the penis is erect it is not the same circumference through out. Keeping this in mind the grip applied should also vary according to the circumference of the penis.
There are other angles and positions while jelqing like upward position, downward position and so on. The upward position will put more pressure on the tunica which is a difficult part of the penis to stretch. The other parts are made of ligaments which are easier to stretch. The downward angle works the ligaments more and this will be beneficial for increasing the length as the ligaments will stretch in this part. This way the pump effect is more and the grip at the base is also more.
One more factor which ahs a major effect is the speed at which jelqing is performed. The stroke should be gradually and shouldn’t be too fast like when you are masturbating or should it be too slow. A stroke which lasts for 3 seconds should be perfect. It should definitely not be lesser because the idea behind jelqing is to create pressure points in the penis. The speed should be slow and gradual. Fast speed is not important, but grip, standard speed and pressure are more important.
The important thing is jelqing is to have patience and keep the goal in mind and work towards the result.
